The Dive Bus is a 15 seater, fully air-conditioned Ford E-350, with a powerful V8 engine for carrying all our dive tanks, dive equipment and conveniences for a great, fun day out diving in Curacao. We also have The Dive Bus 4x4 truck so we can accommodate trips for larger or smaller groups. For us, size doesn’t matter… We take small groups of passengers per trip on The Dive Bus,
so it's not too crowded and the dive groups are never
too big. But it does mean that the dive trips
fill up early so make sure you reserve your spots to avoid disappointment. We only take certified divers on the actual dive trips, but if you're interested in doing a try dive, getting certified, making your Open Water check out dives or continuing your diving education, click here for more information. A typical dive trip on The Dive Bus begins around 8.30am with introductions and The Dive Bus briefing, after which we'll be on our way. Journey time to the dive site depends entirely on where we’re diving that day and who is driving, but there's plenty on board for the trip to help you relax and enjoy, including cold drinks, music, snacks, heaps of information about diving, marine life and of course, great views of Curacao. Once we’ve arrived at the dive site it's
time to unload the Bus. On our 2 tank dive trip,
we make both dives at the same beach
so, we can settle in for a day of diving and chilling out. All
the Curacao dive sites have been specially selected
for excellent diving, natural beauty, remoteness from the crowds, or,
pretty often, all of
the above. Hang out on the beach or grab a snack during your surface interval,
before meeting back up for the second dive briefing.
Or, if you're doing your own thing with your buddy, head off for your
second dive in your own time - just don't
miss the trip back as it's a long, long walk. Once the dive is done for the day, it's time to relax and open the beer cooler. Lunch is a help-yourself-picnic affair and there are additional snacks and soft drinks available so you won't go hungry or thirsty on the trip for sure. After that, it's chill out time, or snorkelling or exploring or sleeping or sunbathing. In fact, whatever you like. Throughout the dive trip we’ll be taking photos to put on the
Gallery pages of this website and
make you famous so you can show off to your buddies back home. And
for a small charge we can also make you a personalized CD of hi-res
versions of your photos your dive trip, complete with heaps
of images of Curacao and local marine life. Click here to see the dive sites and the dive trip schedule.
Prefer to buy your own dive equipment? Let us know what you need, want or are interested in. We can price it up for you and if you’re happy, have it ready and waiting for when you arrive.
