The Dive Bus aims to provide relaxed, fun diving but we take the safety of our divers and our Crew very seriously. Below are the rules which all Dive Bus divers are requested to follow to ensure you have the best possible time whilst keeping it safe. Even if you're diving independently, you'll still want to keep these in mind: - Only certified divers or student divers with an instructor on the dives.
- Recent divers only: you should do a Refresher Dive if you havent dived within the last 12-18 months.
- Night dives and Superior Producer dives are subject to a check out dive with a member of The Dive Bus Crew beforehand. Advanced divers only on Superior Producer dives.
- No solo diving, even if youre certified as such.
- Dive within the limits of your training and capabilities.
- Absolutely no diving after drinking alcohol.
- Listen to and follow the dive briefing and plan.
- Accidents happen so be prepared. Carry a valid ID, c-card, credit card, DAN or other insurance details and a small amount of cash with you (even on your dives) in case of emergency. Invest in a waterproof case the size of a cigarette pack to keep it all in, as well as your accommodation and car keys, so you're carrying your valuables with you whilst you're diving. Bring a copy of everything to keep in your room as a back up.
