This dive site is also known as Alice in Wonderland. Journey time: | 60 minutes and worth it |
| | | Facilities: | Resturant and bathrooms | | | | Beach: | Long beach which is sometimes sandy and sometimes coral depending on the weather, but always beautiful. | | | | Shade: | Palm leaf umbrellas on the beach where you can eat lunch, or natural shade at the Dive Bus camp up in the car park overlooking the most amazing view... | | | | Shore entry: | Loose coral so booties recommended unless you’ve got tough feet. | | | | Swim out: | Very easy, very short. | | | | Dive: | There’s too much to see on this flat, gentle, easy to dive reef, which is densely populated with colourful fish, mushroom-like hard coral formations. Turtles hang out here if you’re lucky. | | | | Non-divers: | Excellent snorkeling, swimming, sunbathing | | | | What’s so special?: | This is the farthest West we can shore dive and is well worth the drive time, not only because it’s such an excellent dive site, but because you get to see a lot of the island along the way. |
| Notes: | There are a LOT of steps down to this dive site and a minute or so's walk from there to the shore entry. Take it easy and you'll be fine. Minimum number of 6 divers for this trip as it's so far away. |
