PADI Open Water Referral course
- What does the PADI Open Water Referral course involve?
The PADI Open Water Referral course is the open water training dive part of the full PADI Open Water course, assuming that you've already fully completed your Knowledge Development and confined water dives within the last 12 months.
For more info on the Knowledge Development and Confined Water training requirements, check out the PADI Open Water course.
Once you've completed your 4 x Open Water dives, you'll be given a temporary certification card straight away and your full PADI card will be at your home within a few weeks. In the meantime, you'll be able to go enjoy some of the other beautiful dive sites on Curacao with The Dive Bus.

- What can I do after my PADI Open Water certification?
Once you're certified as a PADI Open Water Diver, you'll probably have been bitten by the dive bug and want to continue your diving education.
Your next step is the PADI Advanced Open Water certification which qualifies you to dive to 100ft / 30m with a certified buddy and to further explore the MANY exciting uderwater adventures available to you as a diver such as going deeper, diving at night, checking out wrecks, taking photos, better understanding the marine life you're seeing on your dives.
If you have the time, you're very welcome to do your PADI Advanced Open Water certification as soon as you've finish your PADI Open Water at The Dive Bus.
